By Jose Gomez-Marquez from D-Lab at MIT will show us a couple of the medical devices he uses for developing countries. D- Lab program is the development of appropriate technologies and sustainable solutions within the framework of international development. D-Lab’s mission is to improve the quality of life of low-income households through the creation and implementation of low cost technologies. Jose and his team are deploying a series of small fridges (3) for tuberculosis patients that use both solar power and Arduino powered SMS boards. The fridges will ping us every time the patient uses it.
